BillzFlow — Privacy Policy

Overview

BillzFlow is operated by Field Lab Solutions LLC, a Texas-based company. We built BillzFlow to help real people manage their bills and get out of debt. We take your privacy seriously and want to be straightforward about what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. This policy is written in plain English — not legalese.

1. Who We Are

BillzFlow is a personal finance web application owned and operated by Field Lab Solutions LLC, based in Texas, United States. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at Contact@BillzFlow.com.

2. What Information We Collect

When you create an account and use BillzFlow, we collect the following:

Account information — your username, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Bill data — bill names, amounts, due dates, categories, and payment status that you enter into the app.
Debt data — debt names, balances, minimum payments, and interest rates that you enter into the debt tracker.
Payment history — a log of bills you mark as paid within the app.
Email address — used to send bill reminder notifications that you request.
Session data — a temporary browser cookie that keeps you logged in during your session.

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, or any sensitive financial account credentials. All financial data you enter is self-reported by you.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to operate BillzFlow. Specifically:

To create and manage your account
To display your bills, debts, and reminders within the app
To send email reminders when bills are due — only when you request them
To calculate your debt snowball payoff plan
To respond to support requests sent to Contact@BillzFlow.com

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to serve you ads.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a MySQL database hosted on Hostinger servers located in the United States. We take reasonable steps to protect your information including:

All passwords are hashed using bcrypt — they are unreadable even to us
All connections to BillzFlow are encrypted via HTTPS/SSL
Sensitive configuration files are protected from public access
Session timeouts automatically log you out after 30 minutes of inactivity

As the operator of BillzFlow, Field Lab Solutions LLC has administrative access to the database. We will never access your personal financial data unless required to resolve a technical support issue you have requested.

BillzFlow is currently in beta. While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. Use the app at your own discretion.

5. Cookies and Sessions

BillzFlow uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in while you use the app. This cookie is temporary — it expires when you log out or when your session times out. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.

6. Email Communications

BillzFlow may send you emails in the following situations:

Bill reminders — sent to your registered email when bills are due tomorrow, either manually triggered by you or automatically via our daily reminder system
Support responses — replies to emails you send us at Contact@BillzFlow.com

We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional content without your explicit consent.

7. Amazon Affiliate Disclosure

Field Lab Solutions LLC is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. If BillzFlow includes links to Amazon products, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data — all data you enter is visible to you within the app
Update your data — you can edit or delete any bill, debt, or account information at any time
Delete your account — email us at Contact@BillzFlow.com and we will permanently delete your account and all associated data
Opt out of reminders — simply do not use the reminder features

9. Children's Privacy

BillzFlow is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at Contact@BillzFlow.com and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as BillzFlow grows and evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of BillzFlow after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Texas.
